ated does not correspond to this display. A conflict of settings can be triggered if the user
changes a parameter inappropriately. The message disappears as soon as a conflict-
free setting is entered.

in chapter 9, "Error Messages", on page 829.
5.8.3.6 Custom Digital Mod User Interface
The menu for setting digital modulation can be opened either in the "Baseband" block or
in the menu tree under "Baseband".
The "Custom Digital Modulation" menu enables direct selection of the data source,
standard, symbol rate, coding, modulation type and filter. All other settings are entered
in submenus which are called via "More" buttons.
The upper part of the menu is used for powering up digital modulation as well as for calling
the default settings and user-defined standards.
The data source is selected and set in the "Data Source" section.
The "List Management" button opens a submenu for calling the data editor and the file
manager.
The middle part of the menu is used for selecting the standard, the symbol rate and the
coding.
The modulation type is set in the "Modulation" section.
The "More" button opens a submenu that displays the mapping for the selected modu-
lation.
This submenu can also be used to enable switching the signal between modulated and
unmodulated.
