Parameters:

NORMal
<Polarity>
*RST:
OUTP:BLAN:POL NORM
Example:
:OUTPut<hw>:IMPedance?
The command queries the impedance of the RF outputs. This permits converting the
output level between units V and W. The impedances cannot be changed.
Return values:
G50|G1K|G10K
Ohm
<Impedance>
Default unit:
OUTP:IMP
queries the impedance of RF output.
Response: 50
the impedance is 50 ohms
Example:
Query only
SCPI conform
Usage:
:OUTPut<hw>:PROTection:CLEar
The command resets the protective circuit after it has been tripped. The state of the output
is again determined by OUTPut:STATe.
The RF outputs of the R&S Signal Generator are protected by a protective circuit which
deactivates the output in the case of an externally applied overvoltage. This does not
change the value of OUTPut:STATe.
Note: An R&S SMUwith serial number lower than 103001 requires:
●
additional Option Overvoltage Protection and High Power - R&S SMU-B32 (Path A)
and R&S SMU-B37 (Path B) or
●
additional Option Overvoltage Protection -R&S SMU-B30 (Path A) and R&S SMU-
B35 (Path B).
OUTP:PROT:CLE
resets the protective circuit for RF output A.
Example:
Event
SCPI conform
Usage:
:OUTPut<hw>:PROTection:STATe <State>
The command attenuates the RF output signal for about 40 dB to protect external devices
against internal signals.
