7.15.1 SOURce:AM Subsystem
The AM subsystem contains the commands for checking the amplitude modulation and
also the broadband amplitude modulation.
The settings for the internal modulation source (LF generator) are made in the
SOURce:LFOutput subsystem.

[:SOURce<hw>]:AM:BBANd:SENSitivity?
The command queries the input sensitivity in V/100% modulation depth.
For two-path instruments, broadband amplitude modulation is only possible for Path A.
Return values:
float<Sensitivity>
AM:BBAN:SENS?
queries the input sensitivity for the BB-AM modulation signal at the
I input.
Response: 0.25
the input sensitivity is 0.25 V / 100 % depth
Example:
Query only
SCPI conform
Usage:
[:SOURce<hw>]:AM:BBANd[:STATe] <State>
The command activates/deactivates the broadband amplitude modulation. It is not pos-
sible to set a modulation depth for BB-AM. The modulation input is the I IN connector.
For two-path instruments, broadband amplitude modulation is only possible for Path A
Activation of broadband amplitude modulation deactivates AM, ARB, I/Q modulation,
digital modulation and all digital standards.
Parameters:
