017-974 FAX Controller Error
Cause:
Resume error of image data storage Flash ROM.
Solution:
The machine will recover after the OK button is pressed or message is displayed for specified
time.
If the error persists:
1. Turn the power Off and On to check that the error recurs.
2. Update to the latest F/W.
3. If the problem cannot be solved, replace the following parts in sequence.
•(REP 5.4 Fax PWB)
•(REP 5.1 ESS PWB)

017-975 FAX Controller Error
Cause:
Exceed the maximum number of file handles.
Solution:
The machine will recover after the OK button is pressed or message is displayed for specified
time.
If the error persists:
1. Wait until the Pending FAX Jobs will be sent, or delete the Pending FAX data.
2. Divide the FAX data into smaller blocks or convert the data to a smaller format.
3. Update to the latest F/W.
4. Ensure that the error is replicated after the printer is powered Off and then On, and then
replace the following parts in sequence.
•(REP 5.4 Fax PWB)
•(REP 5.1 ESS PWB)
