Direct injection pump and fuel injector
• It is easier to perform the work by gradually
tightening the nuts on both ends of the pipe
alternately.
• If the nuts cannot be tightened temporarily
until the distances are within specification,
the fuel pipe may be connected improperly.
f. Tighten the direct injection pump bolts
evenly.
g. Tighten the fuel pipe bolt (starboard
fuel pipe).
h. Tighten the flare nuts on both ends of
the fuel pipe to the specified torque.
