12. Install:
• Breather plate (PORT)
• Breather plate (STBD)
TIP:
• Apply a thin, even coat of sealant onto the
cylinder head covers “1” and “2”.
• Make sure to apply sealant only to the por-
tions of the cylinder head covers that will
contact the breather plates.
13. Install:
• Gaskets “1”, “2”
• Cylinder head cover (PORT) “3”
• Cylinder head cover (STBD) “4”
TIP:
Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts to the
specified torques in 2 stages.
