Removal of the battery support
To remove the battery support, you first need to remove the left-hand side fairing (Sect. E 2) and disconnect the sidestand wiring
connector (A) from the main wiring loom (Sect. P 1).
Unscrew the bolt (2) and remove the battery retaining bracket (3).
Disconnect the battery terminal clamps (5) and (4). Always disconnect the negative terminal clamp (5) first.
Remove the battery (6).
Remove the clamp (B) and disconnect the regulator wiring connector (7) from the wiring loom.
