E2 Jr. and S3–4K Jr. do not have Link cards, but these models can be upgraded with Link cards,
which would go into the same slots as the Link cards on the E2 and the S3–4K.

4.15 CXP Input/Output Card
About the CXP I/O card
The CXP I/O card adds more flexibility for distributing video signals. The CXP I/O card can be used in an input
or output slot of an E2/S3. The E2/S3 can then be connected by a CXP link cable to the CXP link connector of
an EX expansion box.
CXP
CXP is a copper connector system specified by the InfiniBand Trade Association. It provides twelve
10 Gbit/s links suitable for single 100 Gigabit Ethernet, three 40 Gigabit Ethernet channels, or
twelve 10 Gigabit Ethernet channels or a single Infiniband 12× QDR link. The connector has 4 rows,
each of 21 pin, total 84 pins.
[Note 1]: The C is the Roman numeral for 100.
The CXP I/O card is supported only with firmware version 7.0 or higher.
General
The CXP I/O card has a single CXP connector, which can support up to 12 10-Gbit channels.
