Electric system
Removal of the alternator
Remove the left-hand side fairing (Sect. E 2).
Disconnect the alternator wires from the electrical system (refer to plate in chapter “Routing of wiring on frame” Sect. P 1).
Remove the left-hand crankcase cover, the stator (A) and rotor (B) (Sect. N 8, Removal of the left-hand side crankcase cover).
