Length (first) dimension. This corresponds to the way the detector
dimensions are stored (see F3 - Calibration screen).
Certificate Year/Month/Day: The date of the original source calibration as recorded
on the source certificate. By selecting a year < 1900 these line items are blanked,
resulting in a calibration that does not correct for source decay.
Certificate Confidence Level: Setting for use in entering certificate uncertainties.
Default is 94.45 % (kc=2) This value is used instead of F3 - Setup, F3 - Detection
Zones, Shift+F3 - Setup Calibration - Confidence Coverage Factor kc on this screen
only.
Radionuclide: The isotope is selected from the Isotope Library using the +/- keys.
If the required isotope is not listed, press F3 to go to Manual mode; the alphanumeric
keyboard can then be used to enter the isotope name.
Radionuclide Half Life: The correct half-life for the selected isotope (previous line)
is automatically entered in this line from the Library. In Manual mode the half-life
must be entered manually using the keyboard. Verify that the half-life is correct
since this value is used to calculate the decay correction for the calibration source.
Certificate Activity: The certified activity at the time of original calibration as
specified on the source certificate. The Activity value entered must be in the units
shown on the right-hand side of the text box. If the source calibration certificate is in
different units, then either it must be converted or the Activity Units on the Common
Values screen must be changed to match prior to entering the data. The available
units are Bq, nCi, dpm, Bq/cm², nCi/cm², µCi/cm², dpm/cm². The maximum activity
that can be entered is 3.402823466E+38 Bq (~9.197E+36 nCi or ~3.402823466E+38
or 2.04173E+040 dpm).
Certificate Emission Rate: The certified emission rate at the time of original
calibration as specified on the source certificate. The Emission Rate value entered
must be in the units shown on the right-hand side of the text box. If the source
calibration certificate is in different units, then it must be converted or the "Emission
Rate Units" on the Common Values screen must be changed to match prior to
entering the data. The available units are /s, /min, /s/cm², /min/cm². These units are
further modified to indicate the Source Type setting (α, ß, γ see above), for example
ß/s/cm². The maximum emission rate that can be entered is 3.402823466E+38 s
