Local Database Support Option
The Local Database Support Option (SOFT-LDB) serves as a data repository for the
Monitor program running on a supported Mirion Technologies (Canberra CA) Ltd.
Contamination Monitor. It is based on Microso
ft SQL 2014 Express Edition with
Advanced Services (Version 129.00.30422000.8). The reports can be viewed locally on the
monitor display or remotely. The system has:

Database Engine, Client Components, Management Studio Express and Reporting
Services.
•
Data Access (ODBC), which is used to
connect Monitor program (supported by
Version 9.00 or later) to the local database.
•
A single local SQL database (based
on SQL Express Server) with a capacity of
4GB allowing storage of up to 20,000 measurement results
•
Predefined reports designed by Mirion
Technologies (Canberra CA) Ltd. are
accessible locally or remotely by launching a web browser either directly or via
CANBERRA’s CRemote (SOFT-CREMOTE Version 1.06 or above) application.
