2. Fits standard 61 cm (24 in.) width GEM-5 only.
3. Spring-loaded expansion bars fit between the GEM-5 walls to hold source in
place.

Access Control Options
A variety of doors, gates and turnstiles (collectively known as barriers), interlocked
with the software, are available to control the movement of personnel through the
monitor. Barrier Arms and Sliding Doors for example, can be used on opposite sides
but not at the same time. A typical set up would be a barrier arm on the entrance
(normally the computer access side and sometimes called the “Hot” side since this
side of the monitor is considered to be on the potentially contaminated side of the
Radiation Control Area/Boundary) and a sliding door on the exit (sometimes referred
to as the “Cold” side since this side of the monitor is considered to be on the clean
side of the Radiation Control Area/Boundary).
