F6 – Printout Menu
Gem-5 User’s Manual 259
By default, whenever calibration settings are changed on any F3 – Calibration
screen, a Calibration Printout file CAL_DATA.TXT is created in the DATALOG
directory, overwriting the previous version of the file, if it exists. In general, the F8 -
Printout screen settings (on page 169) determine which check results files are saved
and for how many days they are retained while the F9 - Data Transfer (Network)
Setup screen settings (on page 174) determine which are transferred.
F5 – Contamination Check Results Printout
A Contamination Check Results report file can be created automatically after every
monitoring cycle, including both positions for Two-Step monitors, during normal
operation (occupant check), detector/zone contamination checks (contaminated
results only), and alarm tests. The Contamination Check Results report provides all
the raw data used in making a “Clean” or “Contaminated” decision, including
detector counts and alarm trip points for every detection zone, including sum zones
(pairs, triplets, quads and “All” as applicable). It can be used to facilitate a
retrospective audit of “Clean” and “Contaminated” decisions. These reports are
saved in the DATALOG directory (D:\MonitorProgram\DATALOG).
Occupant Check Results files are created for both positions for Two-Step monitors.
The file name is RESULT date/time Pn _.TXT for a clean result, where n is 1 to
indicate Position 1 or 2 to indicate Position 2. Pn _.TXT changes to Pn C.TXT for a
contaminated result.
If Extended Counting Time was used in making the clean/contaminated decision (see
“Extend Count If Contaminated” on the F1
−
Common Values setup screen, then a
Pre-Extend Results file containing the results for the initial counting period can be
created. The file name is RESULT date/time En C.TXT (where n indicates
Position 1 or 2).
Following a user-contaminated decision, the monitor performs a Detector
Contamination Check (on page 59). A Detector Check Results report is created only
if the result is “Contaminated”. These reports indicate Position=3 in the header to
distinguish them from Occupant Check Results. The file name is RESULT
date/time DC C.TXT.
The file name for alarm test results is RESULT date/time AT _.TXT for a clean
result; AT _.TXT changes to AT B.TXT for a Background Change occurrence and
AT _.TXT changes to AT C.TXT for a contaminated result.
All Contamination Check Results files can be transferred automatically to the central
history computer or the mapped network drive if the F9 – Data Transfer (Network)
Setup is configured as appropriate (i.e., set to “MOVE” or “COPY”). If this transfer
is successful then all these files are deleted from the
D:\MonitorProgram\DATALOG directory.
In general, the F8 - Printout screen settings (on page 169) determine which check
results files are saved and for how many days they are retained while the F9 - Data
Transfer (Network) Setup screen settings (on page 174) determine which are
transferred.
