• J2: Debugging input/output; labeled SERIAL, NOT USED
• J3: General purpose input/output (2 wires, VCC and GND) also SPI
interface. It is unpopulated and therefore, NOT USED.

Switches
Overview
Refer to Figure 160 on page 372.
• S1: Reset push button; RESET. Has same function as J11. Not to be used in
normal operation.
• S2: Service push button; labeled SERVICE. It will disable the board when
pushed leaving the actuator in free motion mode. It can be used during
service. The only way of exiting service state is by executing reset command.
Not to be used in normal operation.
• SW1: Sets opening speed; it has 8 positions, 0 being the lowest speed (not
used when operating with Barrier).
• SW2: Sets the closing speed; it has 8 positions, 0 being the lowest speed (not
used when operating with Barrier).
• SW3: Sets the obstacle detection threshold; it has 8 positions, 0 being the
lowest level.
• SW4: Sets the polarity of the signal from the sensors. There are 4 DIP
switches:
a. Sets polarity of Limit Switch 1 input.
b. Sets polarity of Limit Switch 2 input.
c. Sets polarity of Optical Beam input.
d. Not used.
The position of SW1, SW2 and SW3 can be modified during the normal operation.
The effect of the new setting will take place for the next movement.
The position of SW4 should be set in such a way that, activation of the associated
input causes respective LEDs D18, D45, and D1 to go ON (in practice it depends on
type of switches/sensors connected to the inputs).
