Demonstration Mode
In Demonstration mode, the hardware (Carrier Board, Sensor Board, and Detector
Boards) is not accessed so that the program can run on any computer operating
Windows XP or above. All menu options are available and operation screens can be
viewed via the Demonstration Display Menu above. Note that the unit cannot be
returned to normal service (F1 on Service Menu) when Demonstration mode is in
effect. A command line option “/DEMO” can be used for this mode. When program
is run with this option then on “Demonstration” setting is forced “YES” and can not
be changed. Also, the SETTINGS, HISTORY, and DATALOG folders are placed in
the system Temporary folder to allow demonstration to be run from a CD. The word
“Demonstration” appears as a magenta banner centered across top of screen when
collecting data in demonstration mode. Demonstration mode uses a random number
generator when collecting data. The technique used is an internal state machine that
simulates sensor inputs with specific sequence and delays. Also, note that in
Demonstration mode, Calibration causes the system to calibrate to factory default
efficiency.
