Prerequisites
For installation of WebRemote, a compatible Monitor's embedded PC is required. To
upgrade, the embedded PC must satisfy both Hardware and Software requirements.
An overview of the requirements is shown below.
• Touch screen kit is recommended (see Touch screen Kit on page 395)
• Storage Capacity: recommended 60 GB
• Serial Bus Monitors: Upgrade may be possible depending on XP Runtime
version (see Computer Model on page 397 and Software Upgrade on page
397)
• Parallel Bus Monitors: Upgrade is not possible
Touch screen Kit (Optional)
WebRemote is optimized for a touch screen or point and click environment. The user
has the choice to use either the touch screen LCD for parameter entry or a USB
connected keyboard/mouse.
The upgrade touch screen kit version depends on the monitor model and existing
display type currently installed in the unit. The table below details which part number
needs to be ordered based on the current monitor type and configuration.
