Enable Key
If assigned a terminal, this allows a key lock switch to externally disable
using the badge scanner/reader.
Badge Scanned
Specific terminal for “Scan Badge (Input Terminal)” Badge Type only.
Used when only a contact closure signal is available from the badge
scanner.
“Line Feed” (default) and
“Minimum Characters”
To indicate end of scan with line feed
character set to "Line Feed" (built in
choice for previous versions). To
indicate end of scan by expected
number of characters received set to
"Minimum Characters" and set
Minimum Characters to expected
number.
Minimum Characters
For all except “Scan Badge
(Input Terminal)”
Badge Types.
Range is 1 to 19, default 1.
A scan with fewer characters than this
setting is rejected. “Ready” screen test
strips leading and trailing spaces before
applying minimum character check
(prior to minimum character test).
Minimum Leading
Digits
For “Scan Badge (Keyboard
Interface)” and “Enter ID
(Keyboard Interface)”
Badge Types.
Range is 1 to 19, default 0.
A scan with fewer leading digits (0 to
9) than this setting is rejected.
