This section describes the trigger-type specific settings. For settings that apply to all
trigger types, see Chapter 7.2, "Common trigger settings", on page 142.
Polarity
Sets the polarity of a pulse, which is the direction of the first pulse slope.
"Positive"
Selects positive going pulses, the width is defined from the rising to
the falling slopes.
"Negative"
Selects negative going pulses, the width is defined from the falling to
the rising slopes.
"Either"
Selects both positive and negative going pulses.
