Renaming a phone link
When you rename a phone link, references to the phone link in the Address List are not
automatically updated; you must go to the Address List and update any references to the
phone link.
For example, if the phone link you renamed is used in an entry in the Address List, go to
this entry, find the reference to the old phone link, then change it so that the new name is
displayed (for help see page 183, Editing an entry in the Address List). If you do not
update the reference to the phone link, the transceiver prompts you to select a phone link
each time you use the entry to make a call.
