Nozzle Replacement

Service Manual 8-9

To replace the nozzle:

1. Locate the four clips inside the nozzle that secure it to the hose (Figure 8-7).

2. Insert the screwdriver into the nozzle, positioning the blade between one of the

clips and the surface of the nozzle.

3. Lift the clip away from the surface of the nozzle while pulling the nozzle away

from the hose until the clip disengages from the flange.

4. Repeat this process for the remaining three clips.

5. Remove the nozzle from the hose.

6. Position the new nozzle over the hose and push until all four clips engage.
