11-50 Service Manual

12. Peel the circular gasket off the enclosure (Figure 11-47).

13. Remove the heater assembly from the metal heater cone.

14. Use a soft cloth dampened with a solution of 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove

any adhesive remnants from the surface. Make sure that the surface is completely

dry before proceeding.

 Caution:

Do not touch the heater coil. Body oil can damage the coil and affect

heater operation.
