10. Attach the hose to the hose duct adapter as follows:
a. Position the hose on the duct adapter. Rotate the hose counter-clockwise until
the hose material reaches the flange and the exposed reinforcing wire is at the
hole in the flange.
b. Insert the wire into the flange hole.
c. Bend the wire back toward the flange so that the hose is secured (Figure 11-
25 on page 11-28).
11. Place the duct adapter into the fan duct by inserting the top edge of the adapter
first, then rotating the adapter downward until it drops into place (Figure 11-28).
