D Changing the GPS memory and alarm
GPS memory and GPS alarm contents can be changed
in the “GPS Position” screen.
While displaying the q MEM or ALM screen, push
QUICK
(C).
While displaying the w MEM screen, touch [GPS Mem-
ory Select], and while displaying the ALM screen,
touch [Alarm Select].
Touch [ e ∫]/[√](D) to change the GPS memory and
alarm contents.
D About the Grid Locator
Grid Locator (GL) is a location compressed into a 6
character code, calculated by the longitude and the lati-
tude.
The locator is simply calculated by dividing the earth
surface into squares.
It is used to find the location of a radio station.
D Changing the Compass Direction
You can change the compass direction between Head-
ing Up, North Up and South Up.
While displaying the q MY, RX, MEM, or ALM screen
push
QUICK
(C).
Touch “Compass Direction.” w
Touch to select the compass direction. e
• Heading Up: The compass always pointed to your
heading course direction.
• North Up: The top is always north.
• South Up: The top is always south.
