The optional AH-4 matches the IC-7100 to a long
wire antenna more than 7 m/23 ft long (3.5 MHz and
above).
See page 16-4 for operation.

The AH-4 and AT-180
a u t o m a t i c a n t e n n a t u n e r au-
tomatically matches the IC-7100 to the connected an-
tenna.
NOTE: Before connecting, be sure to turn OFF the
transceiver’s power.
D Connecting an AT-180
The optional AT-180 matches the IC-7100 to both HF
and 50 MHz antenna, and automatically tunes the an-
tenna (impedance range: 16.7 to 150 ø) during trans-
mission when the antenna SWR is less than 1:3 (HF
band).
