The F1 – Zone Configuration screen on page 113 allows changes to be made quickly
to all the zones of each zone type.
The F2 – (Zone) Settings screen on page 116 is also used to change settings, such as
high and low alarm and release limits, for individual zones (singles, pairs, etc.).
Zones can be considered in separate groupings for the as applicable. Press Page
Down or Page Up to jump to single, pairs, triples, quads and All zone groupings
quickly.
The F3 – Calibration screen is used to perform efficiency calibrations for all zones,
including singles, pairs, triples, quads and all, as applicable for the model. Normally
only the single detector zones require calibration and sum zones are automatically
assigned an efficiency derived from these single detector zone efficiencies. If
required, the sum zones can also be calibrated using the F3 – Calibration screen
instead of using the derived efficiency.
Shift+F3 - Calibration Settings can be used for entering additional calibration
settings.
The F5 – Group Settings screen on page 127 allow a change to be made quickly to
the settings for all the zones in the group, such as alarm activity (release alarm level)
and calibration source ID, as well as the high, excessive, and low background count
alarm rates. On the GEM-5, all detectors belong to one group, i.e. the Gamma Body
group.
Shift+F5 - Global Settings is similar to F5 – Group Settings but can be used for
further convenience globally for all detectors.
F7 –Alarm Test Settings screen on page 113 can be used to select the type of alarm.
F9 –Edit Calibration Source List screen on page 137 can be use to enter or modified
data for all potential sources that might be used to calibrate the monitor.
