This item is forced to Two-Step if Two Step Only is set to “YES” on the F1 – Model
Selection screen.
The contamination level at which the monitor can be set to accurately alarm is
different for each of these modes. If the operating mode (Monitor Steps) is changed
then the alarm release level and self shielding factor settings on the F2 – (Zone)
Settings setup screens should be reviewed.
Check Body For Turn: If Monitor Steps is set to “Two-Step”. Always “YES” if ;
otherwise this item not applicable.
Contaminated Display Table: Controls the appearance of the table(s) on the
CONTAMINATED Mode display screen (see CONTAMINATED Mode on page
59). Choices are “Small Font” (default), “Large Font”, and “None”. “Small Font”
allows up to 17 table rows while “Large Font” allows a maximum of 14 rows.
Contaminated Table Units: This item determines the parameter displayed in the
Contaminated Display Table discussed above. The choices are “Gross Rate”, “Net
Rate” (default), “Zone ID Only” and “Activity”. The display units for count rate and
activity (e.g. cps, cpm, Bq, etc.) are set in the F1 – Common Values screen.
If set to “Zone ID Only”, only the description(s) of the contaminated detector sum
zone(s) in the table are displayed.
If set to “Activity”, Activity < Alarm Units setting appears and its choices are
“Display Activity” and “Display Alarm Activity” (default). When set to “Display
Activity” the measured activity is shown on the Contaminated Display Table even
when it is below set Alarm Activity. When set to “Display Alarm Activity” the set
Alarm Activity is shown when the measured activity is between ATP and ALS. This
also applies to Contaminated Results Data Log “Print”.
Show Contaminated Sum Zone: If Monitor Steps is set to “One-Step”. Choices are
“Red” (previous behavior) and “Orange” (default). When “Orange” is selected the
detectors making up the sum zone are shown in orange except for the detector with
the highest net rate, which is shown in red.
Alarm Test Contaminated: Choices are “Show All” (default) and “Show Current”.
In Alarm Test mode the Contaminated display can be set to show detectors that have
alarmed at least once since entering Test mode in solid red (Show All). This makes it
easier to confirm which detectors have been checked. Otherwise detector displays
are reset to green when the next countdown cycle finishes (Show Current).
Display Badge Scanned is shown if Badge Configuration Badge Type is set to
“Scan Badge (Keyboard Interface)” or “Enter ID (Keyboard Interface)”. Choices are
“YES” (default) or “NO”. This will control whether the ID itself is shown on top left
of Ready, Position, Count, Turn, Clean and Contaminated screens.
Detector Contamination Check: For One-Step operation choices are "No" and "If
Contaminated" (default). For Two-Step operation choices are "No", "If Either
Position Contaminated" and "If Second Position Contaminated" (default). This
