Log files are limited to a maximum size as set on this screen (the default is 2,000,000
bytes; the Maximum Size of…File for any of the data log files is 2
26
= 67,108,864
bytes) to reduce delays in monitoring. New data is appended to the end of the file.
When the file size reaches the maximum specified size, 10% of the oldest data is
deleted. Note, however, that Data Log files are deleted from the monitor’s hard drive
after they have been successfully transferred to the network server. This ensures that
the same information is not transmitted again during the next data transfer operation.
The Background Trend Log Period and the Event Totals Log Period set the time
intervals for reporting the background average and event history, respectively. The
range is from 1 to 1440 minutes (24 hours) with a default of 60 minutes.
All Data Log CSV files have a single header line on the first row that lists the
headings for each column of data. The headings for Columns 1, 2 and 3 are identical
for all CSV file.
A Print label [Print] consist of:
• Appended DLC_BEGIN.TXT (if found) located in
D:\MonitorProgram\CUSTOM
• Appended DLC_BEGIN#.TXT (if found) located in
D:\MonitorProgram\CUSTOM
• Monitor ID Location ID Serial Number
• Date Time
• Appended DLC_END.TXT (if found) located in
D:\MonitorProgram\CUSTOM
• Appended DLC_END#.TXT (if found) located in
D:\MonitorProgram\CUSTOM
Data logs that report results for individual detection zones (including singles, pairs,
triples, quads, and all, as applicable for the unit) identify the zone in the column
heading using the Zone Number. Zone numbers are assigned sequentially from 1 up
to the number of zones applicable for the model. A list of zone descriptions,
including the physical detector(s) or detector section(s) in the zone, is provided on the
F6 – Monitor Zone Status screen. If a zone number is not applicable for the
configuration then that column is skipped in the data log.
Contaminated [Print], [None] are saved to RESULT YYYYMMDDHHMMSS DL
C.TXT file.
Verification Test trend [Print], [None] are saved to RESULT
