21. Increase the V MIX GN (D key) until the signal’s maximum amplitude reaches
80 % of the screen height (see Figure 5-111 on page 199).

22. Press the FREEZE key ( ) to unfreeze the acquisition.
23. Press the FULL NEXT key ( ) to toggle to the full-screen mode.
24. Null the probe with the A-LIFT NULL key ( ) on position 1, and then scan the
three corrosion defects.
