13. Press the GAIN key ( ) twice, and then decrease the horizontal amplitude of
the frequency 1 signal (green) until it extends exactly 5 divisions to the left of the
null point (see Figure 5-123 on page 208).

14. Press the GAIN key ( ) again, and then increase the vertical amplitude of the
frequency 1 signal (green) until it extends exactly 4 divisions above the null point
(see Figure 5-124 on page 209).
