WATERFALL (NORTEC 600S and NORTEC 600D models only)
Used with rotating scanners. Multiple sweep traces are displayed across the
screen during hole inspection.
DUAL IMP (NORTEC 600D model only)
Used during setup of dual frequency inspections (for more details, see “Dual
Frequency Menus” on page 109 and “Display Menu in Dual Frequency —
DISP Key” on page 116).
ALLIN1 (NORTEC 600D model only)
Used during setup of dual frequency inspections (for more details, see “Dual
Frequency Menus” on page 109 and “Display Menu in Dual Frequency —
DISP Key” on page 116).
CHANNEL
This mode is for the NORTEC 600D model, and is only functional during dual
frequency inspection. For more details, see “Display Menu in Dual Frequency —
DISP Key” on page 116.
POSITION
Used to select the NORTEC 600 instrument‘s null position. By default, the null
position is set at the center of the instrument screen. There are five preset null
positions, as well as a modifiable position named CUSTOM.
To adjust the null position, press the DISP menu key ( ), followed by the
Ckey. With POSITION highlighted, rotate the knob until the desired position is
displayed.
CENTER
Places the null position at the center of the screen.
BOT RGHT
Places the null position near the bottom right of the screen, at 80 % horizontal
and 20 % vertical.
BOT CNTR
Places the null position near the bottom center, at 50 % horizontal and 20 %
vertical.
TOP CNTR
Places the null position near the top center, at 50 % horizontal and 80 %
vertical.
