SC551-01 A Thermopile (Edge) Disconnection
Below -50 degrees C (or below CB) is detected for specified time (sec.)
continuously.
• Thermopile disconnection
• Connector disconnected
1. Reconnect the connector between the fusing unit and BCU.
2. Replace the Thermopile (Edge)
3. Replace the harness between the fusing unit and BCU.
4. Replace the BCU, or Paper Transport IOB.
SC551-02 A Non-contact Thermistor (Edge) Disconnection
3ED - 3FF (FB voltage: 3.243V-3.300V) is detected for specified time
(sec.) continuously (NC sensor center: detection & compensation NC
sensor edge: detection & compensation).
Detection period: 100 ms, detection frequency: 10 times or more.
• NC sensor disconnection
• Connector disconnected
1. Check the power supply voltage and reconnect the cable to the
outlet.
2. Replace the Thermostat (Edge).
3. Replace the Fusing lamp.
4. Replace the Thermopile (Edge).
5. Replace the BCU, or PSU (AC Controller Board).
SC551-03 A Non-contact Thermistor (Edge) Short-circuit
AD value: 0-13 (FB voltage: 0.000V-0.041V) is detected for specified
time (sec.) continuously.
Detection period: 100 ms, detection frequency: 10 times or more.
• NC sensor short-circuit
• Connector disconnected
