Above (T3) degrees C detected for specified time (sec.) continuously.
Detection period: 100ms, detection count: 10 times or more.
• Triac short-circuit
• IOB defective
• BCU defective
1. Reconnect the connector between the fusing unit and BCU.
2. Replace the Thermopile (Edge).
3. Replace the harness between the fusing unit and BCU.
4. Replace the BCU, or PSU (AC Controller Board).
5. Replace the Paper Transport IOB.

In the event of an error
• Triac defective (short-circuit)
• Engine controller defective
• Heating edge thermopile defective
• Fusing control software: out of control
1. Reconnect the connector between the fusing unit and BCU.
2. Replace the Thermopile (Edge).
3. Replace the harness between the fusing unit and BCU.
4. Replace the BCU, or Paper Transport IOB.
5. Replace the fusing unit.
