Setting data compression for sending 0
Similar to storing or exporting data on external data media, you can activate data
compression for sending patient and examination data through the network
(depending on the configuration of your system).
â—† Specify the individual network addresses, the compression type and quality
factor.
(→ Page 94)
Setting retries 0
If errors occur during data transmission in the network, they can often be reme-
died with a repeated attempt. You can set how many times and at what interval
attempts are to be repeated.
â—† Enter the number of retries or click on the arrows. (Possible values: 0 to 5;
default: 0)
â—† Enter the time interval between the attempts. (Possible values: 5 to 60 min;
default: 10 min)
– The number of new attempts is displayed in the window Network Job
Status.
Caution
The compression method is set to irreversible compression (Lossy JPEG).
Information of medical relevance may be lost.
â—† Do not use images stored by lossy compression for primary diagnosis, since
their image quality may not be sufficient.
