It is generally not necessary to set examination parameters and thus configure
exam sets, since the default standard programs delivered with the system
already cover a large spectrum of dedicated applications.
If you wish to configure your own exam sets nevertheless, you can make the
parameter settings in the Examination Set Configuration dialog window.
The following configuration options are available:
❏ Basic settings for examinations in the Basic display mode of the Examination
task card. These default settings are used for the examinations of body
regions.
❏ Administration (activating, deactivating, creating and deleting) of exam sets.
This determines which exam sets are available for the examination. In the
Extended display mode of the Examination task card, these entries are
shown in the selection lists of the control area.
The administration of exam sets is done in the Examination Set
Configuration dialog box.
❏ Modifying system-specific parameter of operating programs (= parameter
sets for operating modes). Thus you can define in detail the acquisition param-
eters of the exam set to which the relevant operating program belongs.
These settings are made in special tab cards that can be called up for the cor-
responding exam set from the Examination Set Configuration dialog.
