System Description
Preparing exposure 0
Protection against contamination and the penetration of fluids0
If a significant amount of fluid is expected during an examination, there is a risk
of fluids penetrating into the system. It is recommend to cover the relevant areas
appropriately.
The C-arm can be covered completely or partially with a sterile disposable sheet
to protect it against contamination (→ Register 11: Options, Page 13).
Positioning the C-arm 0
â—† Align the ARCADIS Varic.
â—† Release the brakes and set the C-arm to the required position.

Warning
As long as the brakes are not locked after movement, the C-arm system moves
freely.
Risk of injury to the patient and personnel!
