●When installing a new fuel pipe, fix the rubber cover
of oil filter [A] on the fuel tank, as shown below.
Arrange the fuel pipe correctly (see the section in the
“Accessory” chapter: “Winding Method of Cable, Wire
and Hose”).
Insert the fuel pipe joint directly into the fuel supply
pipe [A] until the hose joint clicks.
Push and pull the fuel pipe joint [A] back and forth
for more than twice to ensure that it has been locked
and cannot fall off.
Warning
Make sure that the fuel pipe joint is
properly installed on the fuel supply pipe,
otherwise the fuel may leak.
If the fuel pipe joint falls off, install it again.
Install fuel tank. [See “Installing Fuel Tank” in the
“Electronic Fuel Injection System (EFI)” chapter].
Start the engine and check whether the fuel pipe leaks.
