Rear Swing Arm
Disassembling Swing Arm
●Lift the rear wheel above the ground with a jack.
Special Tool—Jack:
Jack Accessories:
●Disassemble:
Rear wheel (see “Wheel/Tire”
“Disassembling Rear
Wheel”),
●Disassemble:
Clamp bolt [A] at the lower side of rear shock absorber
[B] (see “Disassembling Rear Shock Absorber”)
●Remove the swing arm installing shaft nut [A].
●Pull out the installing shaft [A] from the right side to
the left side of motorcycle and remove the swing arm.
Installing Swing Arm
●Apply a large amount of grease on the edge of oil seal
[A].
