Checking Magneto
●There are three types of magneto faults: short circuit,
open circuit (the wire is burned out) or magnetic loss of
rotor. A short or open circuit of coil will result in low
output or even no output. The magnetic loss of rotor
will result in low output, this loss may be caused by the
dropping or beating suffered by the AC generator, and it
may also caused because the rotor is placed near the
electromagnetic field, or due to the aging only.
