●Remove the storage battery bracket [A]
●
Remove the battery [B] from the battery fixing
bracket
Battery Installation
●Install the battery into the bracket
●Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery
●Apply a thin layer of grease on the terminal to prevent
corrosion
●Connect the position (+) cable to the battery
●Cover the (+) terminal with a red cover [A]
●Install the battery bracket on the battery
●Connect the connector
●Connect the negative electrode (-) cable to the frame
●Install:
Upper cover of air filter
Seat cushion
Battery Activation
●Filling Electrolyte
○Make sure that the model [A] marked on the
electrolyte bottle matches with the model [B] of the
battery. These models must be the same.
Storage battery model: YTX7L-BS
Warning
Make sure to use the electrolyte of the model
same as that marked on the storage battery,
because the volume and density of used
electrolyte are different if the storage battery
models are different
. This is to prevent that the
storage battery life is shortened and the storage
battery performance is reduced due to filling too
much electrolyte.
