Working Environment of Fuel Pump
The fuel pump assembly needs to be installed at
the bottom of fuel tank according to the
requirements.
Fuel pump assembly design is generally only for
gasoline fuel, ethanol and fuel with gasoline ratio
of 22%.
Make sure that there is enough fuel in the fuel tank
in the first operation of fuel pump assembly, and
do not run it in the absence of oil.
Fuel pump Maintenance Process

hen conducting maintenance operation for fuel
system, care should be taken to ensure personal safety.
Disconnect the negative electrode of storage
battery of motorcycle.
Smoking is prohibited and a “no smoking” sign
should be placed near the operating area.
Ensure that there is a fire extinguishing device.
The operating environment is well ventilated and
away from open flames.
Wear safety goggles.
To release fuel vapors in the fuel tank, open tank
cover and refit it.
There is still a high pressure in the fuel line after
the engine stops running, then oil may be injected
after disassembling or releasing fuel line. Refer to
“Fuel Pressure Release Process” in this section.
A small amount of fuel may flow out after
