Benelli TNT125 - Starter System

Check
●Start the engine according to the following conditions
First Check
Condition:
Drive device → 1st gear
Clutch handle → hold
Side stand → up
○Turn on the ignition switch and press the start button
○If the start-up system circuit is normal, the starter
motor will not rotate
●If the engine starts, check the starting power-off
switch, side stand flameout switch, gear
switch and
relay box
●If the parts are all in good condition, replace the ECU
• start the engine according to the following conditions
Second Check
Condition:
Gear → neutral
Clutch handle → release
Side stand → down
○Turn on the ignition switch and press the start button
○Then the starter motor starts, and the start-up system
circuit shall be normal
★
If the starter motor does not start, check the start
switch, gear switch and relay box
★
If the parts are all in good condition, replace the
electronic control unit
Third Check
●After carrying out the following operations, check
whether the engine can be safely extinguished
●Run the engine according to the following conditions
Condition:
Gear → 1st Gear
Clutch handle → release
Side stand → up
●If the side s
tand is placed on the ground, the engine
will flame out
★If any one does not flame out, check the gear switch,
start switch, side stand flameout switch and relay box
★
If the parts are all in good condition, replace the
electronic control unit
IC Igniter Inspection
○IC igniter is put inside the electronic control unit.
