Installing Front Shock Absorber
Keep the direction and position of top of outer pipe
[A] as shown in the figure on the right before
installing the front shock absorber.

●Locking torque:
Clamping bolt of front shock absorber (at the lower
side): 22 N·m
Clamping bolt of front shock absorber (at the
upper side): 22 N·m
Remark
Lock two clamping bolts twice alternately to
ensure that the locking torque is even.
Install it in reverse order of disassembly (see the corresponding chapters).
Replacing Front Shock Absorber Oil
●Remove the front shock absorber (see
“Disassembling Front Shock Absorber”).
●Clamp the lower end of inner pipe with a vise.
●Remove the head cover [A] from the outer pipe.
