Replacing Fuel Pipe
●Disassemble the fuel tank [see “Disassembling Fuel
Tank” in the “Electronic Fuel Injection System (EFI)”
chapter].
●Pull out rubber cover of oil filter [A] from the fuel
tank.
● Remove the fuel pipe from the fuel pump joint [A].
●Make sure to enclose the hose joint [C] with a piece
of cloth.
●Press the joint lock claw [B].
Warning
If any fuel spills, it must be cleaned
thoroughly immediately.
When the fuel pipe is disconnected, the fuel
will spill from the fuel pipe. Therefore, the hose
joint shall be covered with a piece of clean
workshop cloth to prevent fuel from spilling.
● Remove fuel pipe joint [A] from fuel supply pipe [B].
Warning
If any fuel spills, it must be cleaned
thoroughly immediately.
When the fuel pipe is disconnected, the fuel
will spill from the fuel pipe. Therefore, the hose
joint shall be covered with
a piece of clean
workshop cloth to prevent fuel from spilling.
