Hub Bearing
Disassembling Hub Bearing
Remove the wheel (see “Disassembling Front Wheel /
Rear Wheel”), and remove the following parts:
shaft shaft sleeve,
shaft sleeve (removed from rear hub),
oil seal
●Remove the hub bearing [A] with the bearing puller.
Note
Do not place the wheels horizontally on the
floor and make the brake disc face down, or
the brake disc may be damaged or deformed.
Please put a stop block under the wheel to
prevent the brake disc from contacting the
ground.

Installing Hub Bearing
Before installing the hub bearing, blow out the dust or
foreign matters inside the hub with compressed air to
avoid contamination of the bearing.
Replace the bearings with new ones.
Install the bearing with the full set of tools for
installing bearings (without contact with the inner ring
of bearing).
●Press the bearing [A] until it reaches the bottom.

Complete Set of Tools for Installing
Bearings [B]
Replace the oil seal.
Press the oil seal [A], so that the oil seal surface is
flush with the end of the hole [B].
○Apply high temperature grease to the edge of the oil
seal.
