Throttle Body
Working Principle of Throttle Body:
Throttle body assembly mainly consists of the
following components: main casting valve,
bearing, shaft and valve plate, return spring,
throttle wire part, throttle position sensing system,
and bypass air volume control system. All of the
above subsystems work together to meet the
requirements for following functions:
 Intake flow control
 Control of air flow at idle speed
 Throttle position detection – provide
throttle opening feedback signal for engine
control system
Throttle
body position sensor provides ECU
with throttle opening; the stepper motor at throttle
