Main Locking Torque Specifications
The following table shows the locking torque of the main fasteners that are to be used with locking agent or
silicone sealants.
The letters in “Remark” column have the following meanings:
AL: Tighten the mounting bolts alternately twice in accordance with the higher locking torque.
G: Apply grease.
L: Apply thread fastening adhesive.
M: Apply grease containing molybdenum disulfide.
MO: Apply oil solvent containing molybdenum disulfide. (Mixture of oil and grease containing molybdenum
disulfide prepared in a weight ratio of 10: 1)
R: Replacement parts.
S: Observe the specified tightening sequence.
Si: Apply silicone grease.
SS: Apply silicone sealant.
