Remove the bolt [A] and take the solenoid valve
bracket of canister.
○Remove the hose used
to connect separator and
remove the canister
solenoid valve [A] from the
motorcycle.
○Check whether there are cracks or other damages on
the canister solenoid valve.
If any, it must be replaced.
Check the canister solenoid valve (see “Canister
Solenoid Valve” in “Electronic Fuel Injection System
(EFI)”)
Check the hose of fuel evaporation and recovery
system according to the following steps.
○Check whether the hose is connected firmly and
whether the clamps are in place.
○Replace the broken, corrosive or damaged hoses.
○Install the negative pressure hose according to the
“Winding Method of Cable, Wire and Hose” section in
the “Accessory” chapter. See Chapter “Electronic Fuel
Injection System (EFI)” for the drawing of fuel
evaporation and recovery system.
○When the hose is installed, avoid bending, tangling or
twisting the hose excessively and do not bend the hose
as much as possible so as to prevent the blocking
caused by evaporative emission.
