Open Barrier: Specifies when barrier is to be opened. Default “Normal” is for Hot
Side barrier to be open during background collection and closed while monitoring an
occupant. “Leave Only” is intended when a one directional Turnstile or Swing Door
which allows entry but needs to be unlocked for occupant to go back. “After Badge
Scanned” implies barrier is closed until a badge reader is scanned (if it has been
enabled in the Dosimeter Configuration screen, then another choice appears; namely,
“After Dosimeter Inserted”). This can be Hot Side Access Key – Input, Hot Side
Access Scanner - Input, or from F3 – Badge Configuration scree on page 25. If a
badge reader is present (and Enabled in the F3 – Badge Configuration screen on page
25), a choice becomes “Badge Configuration: to indicate that this is set up based on
that set up screen.

Service Open: Specifies that Hot Side Barrier should be opened when the Escape
key on an external keyboard is pressed to go the Service Menu or F4 – Detector
Faults screen.
Alarm Test Open: Specifies that Hot Side Barrier should be opened when Alarm
Test key switch is active.
Security Supervisor Open: Open a Hot Side Barrier when Supervisor Security
Access – Input is active.
Hot Side Security Key Open: Open a Hot Side Barrier when the Hot Side Security
Key – Input is active.
Cold Side Security Key Open: Open a Hot Side Barrier when the Cold Side
Security Key – Input is active.
Contaminated Go Back Option: Choices are “After Remove Badge” (default) and
“Before Remove Badge”. “After Remove Badge” behaves as follows: On
Contaminated and Go Back screens Remove Badge is requested until it is removed
and then the Hot Side barrier is opened. “Before Remove Badge” behaves as
follows: On Contaminated and Go Back screens the Hot Side barrier is opened and
then Remove Badge is requested until it is removed. This setting applies when Hot
Side Access Scanner – Input is set to “Badge Configuration”. This, in turn, requires
