UART performs the following four types of communication operations.
• UART transmission (See 15.7.1 UART transmission.)
• UART reception (See 15.7.2 UART reception.)
• LIN transmission (UART0 only) (See 15.8.1 LIN transmission.)
• LIN reception (UART0 only) (See 15.8.2 LIN reception.)
15.7.1 UART transmission
UART transmission is an operation to transmit data from this MCU to another device asynchronously (start-stop
synchronization).
Of two channels used for UART, the even channel is used for UART transmission.
