Assembling Master Cylinder
Before assembly, use the brake fluid or alcohol to
clean all parts, including the master cylinder.
Note
Except for the brake pad and disc brake, other
brake parts can only be cleaned by disc brake
fluid,
isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Do not use any
other fluid to clean above parts. Gasoline, oil or
any other petroleum distillate can corrode the
rubber parts. If oil splashes onto any part, it will
be difficult to clean it thoroughly and the rubber
parts ins
ide the disc brake will be corroded
eventually.
●Apply the brake fluid to the new parts and inner wall
of brake cylinder.
●Be careful not to scratch the piston or inner wall of
brake cylinder.
●Apply silicone grease to the brake handle pivot shaft
bolt.
●Tighten the brake handle pivot shaft bolt and lock nut.
